Junior-Mid-Level Software Engineer - C#

Job SummaryThe position will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The individual would be responsible for developing new reporting tools and seeking ways in which to leverage the various software packages used by employees to create scalability and efficiencies across all functions within the company. Using an active and practical approach, the individual will work with the CTO and the overall team to attain the company's strategic goals established in the company's strategic plan and as directed by the CEO.?Responsibilities and Duties??????????Develop and maintain Management Information and Client Reporting??????????Develop and maintain apps that support business processes??????????Ensure seamless integration of various software packages??????????Work in a consultative fashion with other department heads and staff, such as business development, client service, portfolio management, investments, marketing, and operations to develop applications designed to improve their efficiency and effectiveness??????????Work in a manner that supports the company's culture, mission and values??????????Conduct research and create case studies on leading edge technologies and help inform determinations on the probability of implementation??????????Seek to acquire ongoing knowledge of the wealth and investment management industries??????????Act as a good steward of resources and ensure control of IT departmental budgets??????????Identify and seek to reduce inefficiencies across the company through technological solutions??????????Seek continuous performance improvement??????????Assist in all current and future system integrations and software implementations?Qualifications and Skills??????????Bachelor's degree in Computer Science??????????2-5?years of relevant experience, including COOP??????????Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals??????????Strong understanding of relational database concepts, e.g. normalization, ACID properties, etc.??????????Required: C#/.NET, Html, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Visual Studio, Microsoft Windows??????????Preferred: SSRS, Web Services, Azure Cloud, UML, full stack development??????????Familiarity with financial services preferred??????????Ability to communicate, inspire and motivate all levels of staff??????????Ability to think and act strategically and proactively??????????Strong verbal, writing and presentation skills??????????Must be team player??????????Must be able to work in the United StatesBenefitsFull benefits.Job Type: Full-time - provided by Dice

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
