Job PurposeThe Transformation & Digital Adoption Office (TDA), part of IT, Digital & Transformation, will play an important part in National Grid bringing energy to life.
The TDA's focus is on large-scale, transformational change.
Sitting between IT and the business, the TDA is perfectly positioned to ensure change programs have the right governance, clear goals, robust business cases and execution to deliver their designed benefits.
Working with the business to reimagine their approach with a digital mindset, the TDA is standardising and streamlining how we deliver transformation - ensuring programs are equipped with the right talent, tools, and methodologies.

To meet this exciting challenge, we are creating a new team, Business Process Reimagining (BPR) within the Transformation and Digital Adoption group.
This team's purpose is to challenge the business to explore innovative solutions and craft transformational strategies that will advance our mission to evolve smarter, cleaner, and more resilient energy networks with our customers in mind.
As the BPR Manager, you will be taking cues from your lead to challenge the business in the art of the possible.
This role will guide best-in-class business process innovation and optimization to evolve National Grid's business capabilities, improve employee and customer experiences, and set the standards to discover tomorrow's opportunities.
This role will support critical transformation initiatives that drive strategic break-through improvements.
Key AccountabilitiesExplore and recommend areas for process optimization or innovation and help guide the business to think unconventionally and push boundariesIdentify technology enablers to achieve and exceed desired business outcomes Deliver an imaginative perspective on current and future state process design, stakeholder engagement, value stream mapping, improvement solutions, testing, and implementation plans Champion BPR standards, policies, and processes when interacting with the businessCreate mechanisms for design thinking and other continuous improvement approaches to provide optimal outlets for creativity Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required Communication Skills.

QualificationsExcellent communication and relationship management skills with an ability to collaborate and provide recommendations at all levels of an organizationProven critical thinker who can pull pieces together to identify key themes that drive innovative and holistic solutions to complicated problemsSuccessful experiences working on cross-functional large-scale initiatives with a high degree of complexityWorking knowledge and understanding of tools and methodologies such as Process Flow Mapping, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Kaizen/Continuous ImprovementIntimate understanding of business challenges that impact the industry in order to recommend process or service improvementsDemonstrated experience with several of the following methodologies:
continuous improvement project execution, business process consulting, continuous improvement coaching, lean management, financial strategic analysis, strategic business planning, Agile, Scaled Agile (SAFe), or othersUS 8-10

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
